We are so pleased to be able to offer this solid wood soap mold and soap cutter handmade from white oak and red oak.         Josiah and a dear friend created this design for a soap mold that does not require hinges or hooks (which wallow out over time!). As you can see the soap mold works much like a puzzle.  It comes apart to make removing your finished log of soap very easy! The cross pieces on the top hold this mold together while your soap cures.  

Once your soap is removed from the mold, you slide it into the cutter which has been custom made to the same dimensions as the mold. You choose the size of your bars of soap simply by sliding your soap to your chosen depth and using the cutter to slice each individual bar. Thick or thin it is up to you!

Are  you ready for the most exciting part?  Josiah precisely designed this soap mold to fit all of the recipes provided in my book Soapmaking Made Simple!  Of course, you can always use a soap recipe/lye calculator, that calculates according to dimensions, to adjust any recipe to fit this mold.

Please note!  These molds and cutters will be available intermittently. Although we plan on carrying them indefinitely, their availability will be subject to Josiah's time to build them.  We do not know how long it will be after this lot is sold before he can create the next lot...my best guess will be sometime this fall.
